Hello All, and Happy Friday!

For those who aren't already aware, our Golf & Amenities Superintendent, Kevin Ferris, will be moving off island in a couple of months.  Kevin and his girlfriend Nichole recently purchased a home just outside of West Palm Beach (on a golf course to no surprise!)  Kevin has been a breath of fresh air for the golf course and other amenities, and will be missed.

That said, we have been very fortunate to have come across someone else who recently moved to St. Croix and has an impressive golf background.  His name is Brian Heitzenrater.  Brian and his wife Debbie moved into a condo at Pelican Cove about 6 weeks ago after she accepted a job as a teacher with the VI public schools.  Brian's work background is in insurance and financial management, which he continues to do.  He also holds two club championships and has served on the Board of Directors overseeing golf operations at those same two country clubs in Erie, Pennsylvania. 

Brian will start as our new part time Golf & Amenities Superintendent on November 1st, and will be working with Kevin for about 2 weeks, at which time Kevin will leave us to prepare for the move to the States, but will still be available to answer any questions that Brian might have.  Brian already has some great ideas to build on what Kevin has started over the last year.  He will also be taking over the golf lessons and junior golf program that Kevin current does.  

Please join me in wishing Kevin and Nichole the best of luck as they start a new chapter in Florida, and welcoming Brian and Debbie to The Reef family!
